As such they are looking for a Maintenance Planner to join their polymers recycling facility in Skelmersdale. The Maintenance Planner is responsible for the creation and execution of the site operations PPM, Work order, equipment failure and maintenance plan, to ensure all tasks are scheduled and issued within agreed timescales.

We have an opportunity in Bargeddie for an Operations Manager to join our team. working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The salary for this role will beย ยฃ60,850.00ย per year,ย plusย participation in a yearly bonus scheme, in addition to our great range of benefits.

About the role
As our Operations Manager, you will provide leadership of the site to drive safety, compliance and a best in class performance. Leading by example, youโll promote a positive working environment for all employees.

Utilising team resource, youโll plan and deliver both production requirements and maintenance strategy efficiently to deliver budget and targets and ensure that maximum plant availability and upkeep of site infrastructure is achieved.

Reporting to the General Manager, youโll collaborate to drive the site forward and implement sustainable process and system improvements. Youโll have demonstrable experience of processing plant operation and line managing a team.

Introduction
We are currently recruiting for a Site Chemist to join one of the industry leaders in hazardous and clinical waste management solutions across the UK. Working as a Graduate/ Site Chemist, you will be responsible for taking and analysing hazardous waste samples on-site to ensure safe and compliant waste is processed at all times. This will be supporting with the day-to-day operations of the transfer station.

The Candidate
To be considered for this position, candidates are expected to have an appropriate chemistry qualification to degree level as well as experience handling a diverse range of chemical compounds including understanding of inter-reactions.
This role would suit a recent graduate looking to further their career within the chemical sector and an interest in moving into the waste management industry.
This is NOT a lab-based role, but instead will utilise your chemistry knowledge in a hands-on operational way. You will be working in difficult conditions and across a busy yard environment. Please only apply if this is suitable.
