Gemma gave me a rundown of the job over the phone and my question to her was 'Do you yourself, have an engineering qualification ?' as I was totally impressed by her ability to articulate the concept around the role of the engineer at Augean. My first telephone interview went very well because Gemma knew exactly the structure of the interview discussion. I was ready and the interview was a success moving to second stage face to face. Again Gemma did her research very well. The interview session was competency based questions, Gemma advised me to use previous work related examples to answer and it worked. I've never felt comfortable in a high level, intense question and answer session. The opening question made me realise that Gemma was spot on.. 'Tell us what you know about Augean...' Apparently the morning before the interview, Gemma had rung me and practiced this question with her on the phone. She wished me good luck! For me your consultant Gemma Nixon is exceptional. I can honestly describe her as passionate about creating success for others and that she has greater depth knowledge about the Engineering and Consultancy Industry. As a professional candidate seeking for my next role, it is vital that I get paired to a job role that generates interest, and that I receive useful and relevant insight into the hiring manager's background and style of approach. Gemma equipped me with all that knowledge together will useful links to prepare for the interview, I was well looked after :) Overall , I see Gemma as intelligent, polite, knowledgeable and has acute emotional intelligence.
