Responsibilities and duties   Reporting to the Nuclear Director, the Project Manager will:
  • Successfully managing projects at various stages, showcasing expertise across stakeholder management, working with third party vendors, suppliers and contractors.
  • Deliver projects on time and to budget, ensuring that all project deliverables meet the highest standards.
  • Work with key stakeholders to define the project scope, looking at key objectives and deliverables to develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.

  • Qualified to degree level, HND of experience in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Project management certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent are advantageous.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, ideally within design and development for safety-critical industries (e.g., oil & gas, nuclear, aerospace, rail, water or similar sectors).
  • Demonstrated experience managing the full lifecycle of complex projects from design through to on-site installation.
  • Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and best practices relevant to safety-critical industries, ideally holding a relevant health and safety certificate. (IOSH)
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and industry-specific regulations.

Roles & Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, as a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Hands on maintenance across the site
  • Maintaining pumps, motors, gearboxes, stirrers, mixers, and all associated pipework
  • Driving plant availability through carrying out PPMs, reactive maintenance, and engineering improvements across the site as well as installations.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and minimum downtime across the site.
  • Stay on top of site stock and spares
  • Other duties as required

 

This is a shift-based role with a mix of days and nights on a 4 on 4 off rota – please only apply if this is suitable.
