The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately administering ionizing radiation to patients in accordance with physician prescriptions and established protocols. This role involves working closely with radiation oncologists and clinical staff to ensure patient comfort, safety, and successful treatment outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy as prescribed by the physician, ensuring correct dose delivery to the appropriate treatment area.
• Review and interpret treatment prescriptions; ensure proper use of set-up accessories and radiation safety measures.
• Perform precise tumor localization using imaging equipment and treatment systems.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records, including CT/Sim setup information, photographs, and daily treatment documentation.
• Monitor patients during treatments, reporting complications or adverse effects to the medical team.
• Perform regular machine safety checks and report any operational inconsistencies or equipment concerns.
• Assist physicists in maintaining treatment equipment and coordinate repairs as needed.
