Position Overview/Responsibilities for the IT Support Technician:

• Deliver frontline technical support for LAN and WAN operations, ensuring seamless implementation and maintenance.

• Respond to service requests and incident tickets related to desktop hardware, providing solutions both remotely and onsite.

• Manage add/move/change tickets, including the installation and configuration of new personal computers and equipment.

• Collaborate with the National Service Desk to address and resolve technical issues efficiently.

• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices.

Required Skills for IT Support Technician:

• Minimum of two years of professional experience in end-user computing and PC/workstation-based LAN applications.

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• Proficiency in mobile devices, Windows, Lotus Notes, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on delivering exceptional support.

• Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in computer science or IS, technical consulting experience, and Microsoft Certifications or A+ certification.
