Working as a Graduate/ Site Chemist, you will be responsible for taking and analysing hazardous waste samples on-site to ensure safe and compliant waste is processed at all times. Introduction
Our client is a leading nationwide integrated waste management business providing collection, treatment, recycling and technologically driven energy generation services across London. As such, they are currently looking for an Engineering Manager to work across 3 of their Transfer Stations throughout London. Working in this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance programmes across the sites, ensuring they are operating effectively and efficiently.
The Role:
Working as the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for covering 3 main transfer stations throughout London, managing their entire engineering strategy and all maintenance teams. This will include:
The Candidate
To be considered for this position, candidates should have experience working in an Engineering/ Maintenance Manager role previously, working with dynamic teams within an industrial process environment.
Candidates should be qualified in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and should have demonstrable success delivering a strong maintenance strategy.
Knowledge of current waste legislation is desirable and a strong health and safety understanding is a must. Candidates should hold their IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH certificate.
Due to the nature of the role, candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and be flexible to travelling throughout London to various sites.

Role Responsibilities
As the EC&I Supervisor you will be responsible for but not limited to:
To be considered for this position you will need to have a recognised Level 3 NVQ/HNC/HND within Electrical Engineering or equivalent with a strong understanding of a variety of controls and instrumentation equipment.
You will have previous demonstrable experience supervising a team of multi-skilled engineers in an industrial operational facility/industry (ideally Waste Management, Power Generations, Aggregates, Manufacturing, FMCG etc). You will have knowledge of CMMS systems and a good understanding of a proactive maintenance strategy and condition monitoring as well as strong health and safety knowledge.This is a 4 on 4 off shift pattern including night shifts. Plastic recycling at the facility will save 126,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year, the equivalent of taking over 67,000 cars off the road
We have a new opportunity for an Execution Engineer to join our team at out new Polymers facility in Avonmouth, Bristol for 42.5 hours pr week, from Monday to Friday.
The salary for this role is circa £54,000 per year, plus participation in a yearly bonus scheme, where you could earn up to 10% of your base salary.
About the role
The Execution Engineer will be part of our multi-disciplinary maintenance team and will play an integral role in the delivery of the maintenance strategy at our Avonmouth Polymer Reprocessing Facility. The primary purpose of this role is the effective execution of breakdown and corrective maintenance work, as well as supporting the root cause analysis process to implement preventive actions to improve overall plant availability.
Working collaboratively with EC&I engineer, Mechanical Engineer and the Maintenance Planner, the Execution Engineer will lead the site multi-functional maintenance team to execute planned and reactive maintenance activities to ensure machine condition, availability and standards are maintained.
The Execution Engineer will provide technical support/governance to ensure improvement projects are executed to the correct standards and in line with site plan, as well as owning the statutory inspections.
In addition, this role will be responsible for ensuring a positive safety culture is upheld at all levels and financial targets are met within their department
