Role - Field Service Engineer
Location: Thames Valley Area
Package: £30,000-£35,000 per annum + Company van

They are looking for a Field Service Engineer to add to the growing team. A primarily field-based role in the Thames Valley area, the permanent full-time position will require on-site attendance to the clients' locations, dependant on the needs of the business.
Roles & Responsibilities
As the Multi-Skilled Trainee Engineer, you will be responsible for:· Carry out regular servicing/preventative maintenance on Recycling Machinery - Primarily balers and compactors.
· To attend breakdowns and complete repairs as required on all recycling equipment at customers sites in our core regions. Within a timely and competent manner, working safely to current legislation.
· You will be required to install and decommission the equipment along with completing training with operatives on the safe use of the equipment.
· Build strong relationships with your colleagues, communicating and working together as a team to maintain customer satisfaction.
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
· Qualified or experienced field service engineer
· Experience with recycling balers and compactors essential
· Candidate must be competent in the following areas, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and welding.
· Full UK driving license.

About the role
As our Operations Manager, you will provide leadership of the site to drive safety, compliance and a best in class performance. Leading by example, you’ll promote a positive working environment for all employees.
Utilising team resource, you’ll plan and deliver both production requirements and maintenance strategy efficiently to deliver budget and targets and ensure that maximum plant availability and upkeep of site infrastructure is achieved.

To be considered for this position, candidates are expected to have an appropriate chemistry qualification to degree level as well as experience handling a diverse range of chemical compounds including understanding of inter-reactions.
Some knowledge of hazardous waste or industrial chemistry would be beneficial as well as previous experience working in a site-based role or in an industrial hands-on environment. This role would suit someone looking to further their career within the chemical sector and an interest in moving into the waste management industry. Job Purpose

Quotation creation for:
Renewal of Service Agreements
Requests for site visits
Spare Parts
Calibration requirements
Management of opportunities within CRM including following up opportunities with the client.
Order acceptance & handling within SAP – working with 3rd party vendors
Resource planning of engineers for site visits and inhouse work – ensuring the resource planning tool is always up to date
Booking travel requirements for engineering team
Invoicing and managing customer billing plans within SAP and various customer portals
Completing margin analysis for life cycle agreements and site work this includes checking time booking within SAP to ensure hours are booked correctly as per the quotation or external work report
Producing monthly reports for order book management
Raising purchase requisitions for 3rd party parts and services from vendor quotations
Required Qualifications, Skills and experience
Must have a minimum of three to five years experience working within a service department
Strong attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask
Exceptional communication and customer service skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
SAP knowledge (essential)
CRM experience (preferred)
Strong prioritisation and organisation skills with the ability to handle confidential information
