As a Sewing Machine Operator, you’ll play a key role in producing high quality garments that are meant to save lives. You’ll work closely with other team members to deliver results that keep production running efficiently and safely.

What You'll Do As a Sewing Machine Operator:

  • Construct assigned item(s) and components properly, following a combination of printed work instructions, integral samples, and verbal instructions.
  • Inspect in-process materials to ensure proper cut, shade, compatibility and ensure that all materials are free of flaws.
  • Operate single, double, multi-needle, and / or other types of sewing machines to create finished garments and / or other products.
  • Perform various sewing duties to meet efficiency standards
  • I.E: reinforce seams and hemming
  • Attach buttons, hooks, collars, pockets, zippers, etc. 
  • Cross train and be able to operate efficiently in multiple areas to meet 
  • efficiency standards
  • I.E: Preparation of (small part), Shirts, Coats, Pants, Liners
  • And / Or Quick Turn
  • Assist in different aspects of the department as needed to help facilitate a smooth workflow
  • I.E: labeling
  • quality control / assurance etc.
  • Show ability over time to display proficiency on multiple machines and multiple products.
  • Assure that all products are built to the highest standard of quality, working with Leads, Management and the Quality Department to assure maintained quality 
  • Keep workplace clean, tidy and in good condition.
  • Return all tools and equipment to their designated spot after each use.
  • Regularly inspect and clean equipment
  • Notify supervisor and / or facilities  maintenance immediately of any and all machines or equipment needing repair or maintenance
  • Ensure that any damaged or excessively worn tools are taken out of service and notify supervisor of replacement needs in a timely fashion

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • NO 'Official' Sewing Experience Required! At-Home Project Experience at minimum is strongly preferred but On-The-Job Training will be Provided! Someone who is looking for a long-term CAREER Opportunity and  looking for a company to grow and advance with is strongly preferred! 
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • A Strong attention to detail is a MUST

  • Ability to lift / move up to 25 pounds of material without assistance.
  • MUST have the understanding & ability to sit, bend or stand for long periods of time - Duration of a 10 hour shift aside from breaks
