• Supplier and equipment supplier coordination and communications for the entire project.
• Sends out contracts and project bids to perspective bidders, and coordinates the follow-up.
• Manages flow of drawings with vendors, suppliers and engineering teams and maintains a structured filing system, including stick files, making copies, scanning, distributing drawings and updating drawing registers
• Coordinates safety briefings of new people on the construction site, creates and assigns access badges for site control.
• Coordinates other site logistics such as equipment rentals and owner controlled insurance program
• Other site requirements such as janitorial services, pest control, recycle systems, fuel deliveries and other site support requirements.

The ideal candidate for this role will:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in project purchasing processes and vendor preferred
• Experience in a project-oriented work environment like construction or engineering communications preferred
• Proficient in MS Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Strong and accurate clerical skills including typing
• Highly detail-oriented – tracks details and even the most minor changes
• Detail oriented is absolutely critical with excellent organizing and coordinating skills, with strong ability to prioritize, multi-task and complete work from multiple sources and under pressure to meet deadlines
• Ability to manage/coordinate multiple facets of project execution process
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Job Title: Shop Mechanic

Pay: $17.00 - 21.00 DOE

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM Start Date: ASAP We are seeking a Shop Mechanic for a Temp-to-Hire position for our client in Springfield, OR, a long standing and reputable hydraulic and machine shop. Established in 1985, this company completes shop work only on components found on heavy machinery that you would typically see in a log yard, on a logging landing, or in an industrial plant to name  few. This is a great opportunity for a long-term placement and career! As a Shop Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

• Tearing down cylinders, valves, pumps, motors, rotary manifolds, hydraulic grapples
• Inspect hydraulic lines and components to detect leaks, damage and wear
• Troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventative maintenance
• Disassemble hydraulic system to remove and replace defective parts
• Disassemble defective pneumatic cylinders, valves, pumps and lines and rebuild, repair or replace components
• Replace worn or damaged hydraulic components and install new hydraulic components on new machinery and equipment
• Will train on test bench (pump and valve stands) and other duties
• Shop Mechanic will also cleanup as needed using brooms & oil clean-up procedures

• Must be mechanically inclined

• Comfortable using many pneumatic and hand tools
• Must be able to lift/maneuver 40-50 lbs consistently

The ideal candidate for this role will have: 

• Ability to work with steel or nickel materials
• Handle chemicals like acetone and loctite
• Due to various colored wires, the ability to accurately differentiate between colors is essential
• High School Diploma or GED is preferred but NOT required-the key is they want to make sure the candidate can perform basic math functions (adding/subtracting/multiplying/dividing)
• Vocational training or coursework in electrical or mechanical assembly, or related field, is beneficial. 
• Soldering experience is preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail

• Knowledge and confidence to make the critical decision whether equipment can stay running or shut down for repairs.
• Ability to fabricate and modify equipment in a neat and workmanlike manner.

• Able to follow written and/or verbal instructions.
