You will collaborate closely with the production team to meet daily targets while maintaining safety and quality standards that keep our operation running smoothly.

What You'll Do

As a Packaging Operator, you will be responsible for:
  • Operating and overseeing packaging machinery, including performing changeovers, adjustments, and troubleshooting minor issues to ensure continuous production flow.
  • Conducting routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and working with the maintenance team to coordinate repairs and minimize downtime.
  • Accurately recording production data, quality checks, and deviations in real-time, ensuring digital data entry into manufacturing software such as the "Red Zone" platform.
  • Leading assigned packaging processes, providing clear guidance to team members, and coordinating activities to meet nightly production goals.
  • Detecting and reporting quality issues or non-conformances immediately, ensuring all work complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety regulations.

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in machine-based manufacturing, preferably within a GMP or food processing environment.
  • Strong mechanical and technical skills, with the ability to understand machinery operations and troubleshoot performance issues independently.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and support colleagues during overnight shifts.
  • Basic math skills, including weights and unit conversions, and proficiency with digital data entry systems.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
