  • Tearing down cylinders, valves, pumps, motors, rotary manifolds, hydraulic grapples
  • Inspect hydraulic lines and components to detect leaks, damage and wear
  • Troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventative maintenance
  • Disassemble hydraulic system to remove and replace defective parts
  • Disassemble defective pneumatic cylinders, valves, pumps and lines and rebuild, repair or replace components
  • Replace worn or damaged hydraulic components and install new hydraulic components on new machinery and equipment
  • Will train on test bench (pump and valve stands) and other duties
  • Shop Mechanic will also cleanup as needed using brooms & oil clean-up procedures

The ideal candidate for this role will have: 

  • Must be mechanically inclined
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic components a must
  • Comfortable using many pneumatic and hand tools
  • Must be able to lift/maneuver 40-50 lbs consistently

  • Maintains the finishing screens by scraping them to insure the product flows through it
  • Performs housekeeping duties to insure the material does not accumulate under the conveyors, aisle ways and cat-walks by following safety practices to avoid injuries
