The role involves supporting and ensuring successful technology delivery of data engineering products, working both independently and collaboratively within an agile environment. This position is ideal for someone with a technical background in data processes and stakeholder engagement.
Position Overview for the Technical Product Owner:
• Acts as a key liaison between Data Engineering teams and business objectives, focusing on technical delivery of digital products.
• Manages product backlogs, authors user stories, and facilitates Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and reviews.
• Collaborates across enterprise stakeholders to prioritize tasks, track capacity, and monitor product development.
• Utilizes data and AI tools to enhance delivery efficiency while maintaining quality and full human review.
• Produces regular reports and documentation to communicate progress and updates to stakeholders.
Requirements for the Technical Product Owner:
• Hands-on experience with SQL, including writing queries and understanding data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data movement processes and ability to walk through data pipelines.
• Proven experience with Agile Scrum management, backlog prioritization, and stakeholder interaction.
• Technical familiarity with data engineering technologies such as Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, and related tools.
• Ability to work independently with a proactive approach, emphasizing continuous learning and AI adoption.
