IDR is hiring a Mainframe QA Tester to support a State Government MMIS Modernization project. This is a fully remote, long-term contract role.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute test cases for functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing.

  • Test COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, and batch processes.

  • Review batch job results, logs, and workflows to identify defects.

  • Validate backend data using SQL and mainframe tools.

  • Document defects and collaborate with developers and BAs to drive resolutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of mainframe QA/testing experience.

  • Design, operate, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across routing, switching, and wireless disciplines

  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and assist with security incident response in collaboration with the Help Desk, ITOC, and SOC
