Preparing, filing, and remitting payments for gross receipts returns in accordance with tax laws in various jurisdictions.
Coordinating with outside third-party tax providers to ensure tax filings are completed, filed in a timely manner, and compliant with federal, state, and local jurisdictions.
Reviewing and analyzing monthly income statement and balance sheet activity for property and gross receipts tax accounts to identify unusual trends or variances.
This role is a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
Required Skills for Senior Tax Accountant:Minimum of 5 years of related experience, with at least 1 year in a financial or Accounting role.
