This role offers an excellent opportunity to play a leading role in the design and implementation of a number of communication services being installed on Hinkley Point C. Responsibilities and duties: Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will:

• Engineering the communications systems for HPC
• Responsible for the end to end design
• Oversee the installation on site working with the various subcontractors
• Keeping the project within H&S regulations and that it is running in line with clients’ needs
• To manage the project Budget alongside the Commercial team and ensure the project runs to budget
• Stakeholder management - including Senior Management and the Client

• Installation of HV supply packages
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors.

• Have had experience working with 11kv power supply's
• Document day-to-day activity for the Electrical Install.
• Ideally have project experience such as Energy from Waste is a desirable.

• Modifying reinforced concrete or steel structure designs compliant with the ETC-C or other
• relevant codes (Eurocodes) and project methodology;
• Checking and coordinating the detailing activities with CAD designers or other engineers in
• preparation of 3D BIM rebar model and/or 2D drawings of reinforced concrete or steels

Astute’s Power team are looking to recruit a Mechanical Construction Crane Supervisor on an construction project in Leeds on a short-term contract, starting immediately.             Key skills

• Oversee overhead crane operations including lift planning, exclusion zones, lifting activities and compliance with lifting regulations
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with RAMS, permits to work, method statements and health & safety procedures
• Ensure all plant, lifting equipment and tools are inspected and fit for purpose before use
• Support commissioning, testing and snagging activities during project completion phases
• Ensure workforce compliance with PPE requirements, environmental controls and company procedures
• Promote a strong safety culture and lead by example on site

• Plan and schedule projects
• Estimate the time and materials needed to complete projects
• Maintain records and documentation relating to the ongoing completion of projects
• Supervise electricians as they work, providing guidance and instruction as needed
• Ensure that work complies with all safety requirements
• Perform electrician tasks as needed

Skills & Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field is strongly preferred
• Previous experience as an electrical supervisor is highly beneficial
• In-depth knowledge of the electrical industry
• Strong leadership skills
• Basic technical literacy

With close to 1.8GWp installed Globally and a 5-year track record for outstanding services, they are looking for a Site Manager to be responsible for providing Site Management services to concurrent turn-key EPC Solar PV & Battery Storage projects in the UK     Roles & Responsibilities You will be responsible for:

• Monitoring performance of operating projects, identifying areas for improvements with deep analysis of the performance of the site, identifying issues and suggesting improvements.
• Reports writing and reviewing for the assets.
• Working closely with Portfolio Managers and Business Development Manager on any issues and the Development Manager and Head of O&M on annual maintenance budgets.
• Hr related involvement and support - recruiting, training, supervising and appraisals for the monitoring team and raising any H&S concerns with manager.
• Liasing with clients after events.
• Supporting field service team with site specific reporting templates via iAuditor and/or other platforms.

    Skills & Qualifications We are looking for someone with the following:

• M onitoring of solar farms  remotely , from a system perspective to individual components: strings, pyros, SCBs, inverters, transformers temperature, trackers, coolant checks.
• Identifying issues, coordinating faults and investigations with the service technician team. 
• Resetting inverters remotely when needed. Activation/deactivation of GFDI protocols
• Report generation  and ch asing engineers ensuring all reports are received especially  corrective reports.
• Event notifications, updating the clients.
