Roles & Responsibilities

As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Staying in touch with team members on a regular basis and undertaking 1-2-1s in order to identify successes, progress, issues and areas for improvement

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Sales experience within the Water Treatment industry (or similar, transferrable industry)
• Experience of managing a team of salespeople
• Strong financial knowledge and understanding
• Strong understanding and knowledge of KPIs, budgets, forecasting etc.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of salespeople remotely

Role and Responsibilities

The Solar Farm Electrical Technician will be responsible for:

• Performing Operation & Maintenance tasks on utility-scale solar plants with outputs of 5 MW and above
• To ensure the solar plants achieve outstanding levels of safety, quality and performance
• Undertake planned inspection and maintenance
• Inspection, testing and maintenance of PV modules, DC strings and inverters
• Undertake AC and DC testing, troubleshooting and fault-finding
• Keep accurate maintenance records and compile reports

 

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• Experience in Operations & Maintenance in large scale solar environments
• Expereince working with SCADA or data monitoring systems
• DC & LV installation, fault find, testing and commissioning experience

EC&I Delivery

• Produce CE&I design concepts including SLDs, BCDs, cable schedules and layout drawings

• Produce and maintain LTQR / Technical Files in accordance with Quality Management Systems

• Ensure designs address operability, maintainability and safety considerations

• Develop functional safety and controls documentation including FDS, SIDD and Functional Safety Plans

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Relevant Engineering Degree, HNC or demonstrable equivalent experience (Essential)

• Control systems experience (Essential)

Desirable:

• Membership of an appropriate professional body

Astute's Strategic Division are currently recruiting for 2x HV AP's to join the EPC Contractor on a new build Data Centre in Central Belgium on an initial 6 months contract basis.

The HV AP positions come with a day rate from €500.00 to €650.00 per day AOR / EOR. Accommodation will be provided. Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:  

• Act as an HV Authorised Person (AP) on a major new-build Data Centre project in Central Belgium, supporting the safe delivery and energisation of HV electrical systems.
• Carry out and oversee HV switching, isolation, earthing and energisation activities in accordance with site Electrical Safety Rules and Safe Systems of Work.
• Hold previous AP authorisation up to 33kV, with strong practical experience operating and controlling HV electrical systems.
• Prepare, issue, manage and close relevant Permits to Work, isolation documentation, LOTO and other electrical safety documentation.
• Support the testing, commissioning and energisation of HV switchgear, transformers, cabling and associated electrical infrastructure.
• Review RAMS, switching schedules and electrical drawings/SLDs, ensuring work is completed safely and in accordance with project procedures.
• Previous experience working as an HV AP within Data Centres, Power Generation, Utilities, Critical Infrastructure or other major industrial projects would be highly desirable.

• Carry out electrical quality inspections across site installations.
• Ensure electrical works comply with project specifications, drawings, standards, ITPs and quality requirements.
• Complete regular site walkdowns and identify defects, snags and non-conformances.
• Review First of Kind installations and agreed quality benchmarks.
• Complete and maintain electrical inspection records, test packs and quality documentation.
• Ensure project quality databases and management systems are accurate and kept up to date.
• Coordinate system walkdowns, snagging and handover activities with construction teams.
• Monitor snag trends and escalate recurring quality issues to the QA/QC Lead.

As such, they are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their largest polymer recycling facility in the UK, based in Avonmouth. Working as their Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out key planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance across the recycling facility on a wide variety of heavy plant and equipment.

 

What you will be doing

As the Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance across heavy industrial plant
• Mechanical fault-finding and route cause analysis techniques
• Working across all processing plant
• Maintenance on wash plant,sorting equipment, motors, conveyors and other manufacturing based equipment.
• Minimising downtime, ensuring plant runs at optimum performance
• Be able to deliver all work set to the operational expectations and budgetary requirements
• Keep records using CMMS
• Working as part of a shift pattern
