• Hands-on experience with finite element tools.
• Familiarity with UK design standards and regulatory processes.
• Proficiency in ANSYS and special piping component calculations (fixed points, endplates).
• Experience with RSTAB, BEAM STRESS, and support calculations and CALTUY/Pipestress software.  
• Knowledge of RCC-M code (section C3650) and damage modes.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in piping calculation.

The Job

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for…

• Supporting existing customers with service, chemical treatment, monitoring and account management activities.
• Providing legionella control to ensure customer compliance with ACOP L8
• Conducting account reviews.
• Compiling customer log books for maintenance and duties. 

• Have previous experience working on low and high-pressure steam boilers, cooling tower control systems, and more

• Provide customer operations training for chemical products.
• Upselling parts, consumables and plant upgrades where needed.

The Candidate

Candidates will have the following experience.

• A HNC or degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering or Chemistry qualification or similar or qualified by experience.
• A full UK driving license is required.
• Knowledge and experience of chemical water treatment would be an advantage e.g. cooling tower management, boiler optimisation.
• Experience of having worked as an Operations/Service Engineer or in a Technical Support role or laboratory experience would be an advantage.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will work closely with project teams to ensure environmental risks are effectively managed and that all works are delivered in line with legal requirements and environmental best practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day environmental support to project and site teams

• Assist in ensuring compliance with environmental legislation, permits, and site requirements

• Support the development and implementation of Environmental Management Plans (EMPs), method statements, and risk assessments
