The Administrator comes with a day rate from £220.00 to £240.00 per day. Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:
  • Act as the primary Document Controller, managing the full lifecycle of project documentation within the ProjectWise system, ensuring accurate storage, version control, and easy retrieval

  • Maintain and administer Health & Safety (H&S) files, ensuring all documentation is compliant, current, and aligned with internal procedures and industry standards

  • Control document workflows including naming conventions, versioning, approvals, and distribution, maintaining document integrity at all times

  • Liaise with project teams, engineers, contractors, and external stakeholders to collect, issue, track, and update required project and H&S documentation

  • Ensure critical H&S documentation (RAMS, permits, certifications, training records, inspection reports, etc.) is complete, correctly filed, and audit-ready

The Mechanical Supervisor positions come with a day rate from €400.00 to €500.00 per day. The role can either be via the EOR or AOR route. Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:  
  • Oversee and supervise the full mechanical scope of works across two 25MW solar PV projects located in Ancona and Torino, Italy.

  • Act as the primary mechanical representative for the EPC contractor on site, ensuring works are delivered to specification, on time, and within budget.

  • Supervise and coordinate mechanical subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure safe and efficient execution of works.

  • Monitor installation quality of mechanical components, including mounting structures, racking systems, and associated plant equipment.

  • Lead the planning and programming of works for 448 overhead line routes, ensuring delivery to time, cost, and quality standards.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.

  • Coordinate planning activities across civils, engineering, and installation teams involved in pylon foundations and line erection.

  • Work closely with design teams to integrate technical outputs into construction programmes.

  • Manage interfaces between civils works (foundations, access roads, crane pads) and overhead line installation teams.

  • Identify and mitigate programme risks, delays, and dependencies, providing regular updates to senior management.

  • Produce and maintain baseline, short-term lookahead, and recovery plans as required.

Job Description

This role will be working within the R&D process team on new developments in water purification technologies and products on the laboratory scale. These will be associated with a wide range of process technologies and new product projects.

The work will primarily involve designing, building and operating laboratory-scale test rigs featuring new technologies, prototypes and finished products. This requires associated chemical/microbiological analytical test work and reporting on results, as part of the Research and Development team. Calibration of instruments and auditing/maintaining records are also important tasks. Analytical skills in chemistry, microbiology and chemical engineering will be utilised.

Please Note - applicants who are asked for interview will be required to demonstrate their knowledge and practical skills via a series of aptitude tasks. The outcomes of these will have a major bearing on our choice of successful candidate.

1. Operation of test equipment associated with new products and processes

To ensure pilot rig and finished product testwork and associated tasks are carried out satisfactorily and completed to meet the technical objectives set within the agreed time scales. 

Involvement in the process design and testing of new products
  • Collaborating in setting design/objectives of testwork, plus definition of time-scales

  • Safe, logical/careful & thoughtful completion of practical work, data logging/processing.

  • Accurate recording of experimental results, report writing and outcome presentation.

  • Organising and monitoring test programmes for new products/technologies.

  • Time management, record keeping and communication.

  • Test reports are completed and written up promptly, in line with departmental KPIs.

2. Project Support

Acquire a detailed familiarity with the technologies used in water purification and with the ELGA LabWater range of products.  Provide support to other team members, using scientific skills and calibration / quality assurance auditing capabilities.

3. Analysis Support

To participate in ensuring that an efficient analytical service is provided by the department. This will require:

  • Maintaining a good working knowledge of the appropriate techniques.

  • Ensuring relevant Work Instructions are kept updated and work is carried out to them.

  • Ensuring equipment is in full working order and calibrated, the laboratory is kept clean, tidy and safe, in accordance with regulatory standards.

4. Laboratory Visibility

The laboratory is maintained such that it provides visitors with a positive reinforcement of our commitment to high quality R&D. A professional approach and GLP-compatible behaviour is a mandatory part of this role.

5. Other features of the job that require emphasis;

 A high degree of flexibility to enable us to react to changing priorities.

  • Working in the R&D Department, information security and confidentiality are essential.

  • A willingness to embrace the precepts of chemistry, microbiology and chemical engineering in order to integrate well in our multidisciplinary team.

  • A high level of work independence is required. After an initial period of training on water purification technologies and laboratory procedures, the candidate will be expected to take ownership of some projects and related testwork.

  • A degree or equivalent in chemical engineering, chemistry or other STEM subject.

  • Experience of working in a laboratory environment with a team of scientists/engineers.

  • Practical knowledge of lab techniques, analytical chemistry and/or microbiology.

  • Strength in mathematics, with the ability to manipulate & analyse sets of numerical data is essential.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal & written, with the confidence to document and present, clearly & concisely, test results, conclusions and project outcomes.

  • A natural problem solver, using your own initiative to find solutions, as part of a team.

  • Willingness and the ability to explore new ideas and grow own knowledge base.
