• Familiarity with EC&I equipment used in conventional and safety-related applications

• Ability to interpret requirements and produce compliant designs

• Good understanding of health and safety principles

• Clear and concise technical documentation skills

• Eligible for security clearance for government and regulated industries

Desirable (but not essential):

• HND or higher qualification

• Nuclear or other highly regulated industry experience

The Commissioning Lead Engineer (BOP – Balance of Plant) role comes with a day rate of between £600-£700 per day (Outside IR35).             Key skills  

• Lead and ensure HSEQ compliance during all commissioning activities, actively promoting safety and risk mitigation across teams.

Astute’s Power team looking to recruit a Cladding Site Supervisor in the Energy from Waste sector a 12–18-month contract for a site in the West Midlands. The Cladding Site Supervisor role comes with a day rate of £450.00.             Key skills  

• Demonstrates leadership and commitment to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ).
• Ensures risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are reviewed with regards to HSE requirements and that work is carried out in accordance with the RAMS.
• Manage and implement processes and tools within area of responsibility
• Ensure that works within area of responsibility are executed in accordance with the contract and conform with project time, budget and HSEQ requirements.
• Manage reporting site supervision and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of relevant scope, in the required quality and in a safe working ambient
• Take full ownership of Civil operations in the delegated Area / Section
• Keep records of all construction activities
