Key Responsibilities for the Facility Building Maintenance Attendant:
  • Cleaning & Sanitation:

  • Perform general cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and scrubbing floors, walls, and furniture.

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, conference rooms, and common areas, ensuring supplies are always stocked.

  • Perform deep cleaning tasks like washing windows, ceilings, and woodwork.

  • Sanitize high-touch surfaces, including doorknobs and elevator buttons, particularly for Covid-19 safety.

  • Maintenance & Repairs:

  • Assist with small building projects and light repairs, including minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry work, and touch-up painting.

  • Report building maintenance issues to the Site Coordinator or Facilities Manager.

  • Event & Facility Support:

  • Help set up and clean up after facility events, including moving furniture and equipment.

  • Perform regular checks of the facility and report issues to the Site Coordinator/FM.

  • Supply Management:

  • Maintain custodial supply inventory, reorder materials, and distribute supplies as needed.

  • Refill coffee supplies and clean coffee machines.

  • Safety & Security:

  • Follow safety procedures and ensure the building is clean, organized, and safe.

  • Report any hazards or building concerns to the Site Coordinator/FM.

    Required Skills and Abilities for the Facility Building Maintenance Attendant:
