Duties and Responsibilities:

• Feed veneer sheets into dryer equipment, ensuring proper alignment and quantity according to production needs.
• Monitor dryer cycles, troubleshoot jams, and assist in clearing blockages with proper lock-out-tag-out procedures.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks on dryer equipment and assist in machine plug-ups as needed.
• Clean dryer components weekly, including removal, washing, and replacement of machine parts.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of work area during downtime and between shifts.
• Keep plant site clean and safe by clearing debris, emptying waste boxes, and maintaining catch basins.
• Monitor production levels, ensure quality standards, and report any machinery issues promptly to maintenance.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to stand throughout shift and perform bending, lifting, and stacking tasks.
• Capable of working at the pace of production and adapting to changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.

Duties and Responsibilities for Steel Site Installers:

• Manage work in progress
• Plan and direct layout of equipment, workflow and assembly methods.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager in planning weld inspections as required.
• Ensure Quality Control Standards and the use of Blueprints / Shop Drawings.
• Ensure welding quality meets company standards on all jobs.
• Ensure that all workings are manufactured in a correct, cost effective and timely manner in alignment with specifications and quality requirements.
• Contribute towards the achievement of company strategic and operational objectives
• Turn in all receipts for materials, fuel or misc expenses on DAILY basis
• Other relevant duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications for Steel Site Installers

• Preferred experience 3-7 years’ in steel fabrication / installation
• Must be able to read & use a tape measure
• Must be able to Read Blueprints
• Must be a certified welder with a minimum of D 1.1 3G/4G Cert AND have that card or paperwork to present when needed
• Must have a Valid Drivers License and a Clean Driving Record to be insurable, as you may sometimes assist with product pick ups or deliveries, in a company Vehicle
• Basic Math Skills Required
• Experience with Structural MIG welding Preferred
• Forklift Experience Preferred

• Prepare parts for paint application
• Set up and operate painting equipment: airless, conventional, brush and roller
• Un-rack galvanized materials, count, mark, tag to identify parts, customers and job numbers
• Clean galvanized products using hand files, grinders, wire brushes, etc.
• Remove sharp edges, excess galvanizing, by hand or with tools
• Tap nuts inside and outside of hollow structure
• Lift parts manually or with forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
• Identify voids in galvanized coatings and repair using hot sticks, brush on paint, aerosol paints, liquid zinc, torches, etc.
• Stack and/or palletize parts using pallets, dunnage, shrink wrap and banding materials, Weigh completed poles and/or parts
• Wear appropriate protective equipment and follow all safety rules and regulations
• Proper area housekeeping duties, Learn and use proper lifting techniques at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized work station
• Maintain painting equipment: hoses, pumps, pressure tanks, spray guns and tips
