As a Inside Sales Associate, you will be responsible for:

• Working in conjunction with expediting, planning, Inside Sales Manager and outside sales to keep customer communication up to date and responsive.
• Process PO’s including ensuring documents exists, validating FAI requirements,identifying appropriate dates to drive and commit (can delegate clerical portion of task to front office/quoting)
• Responsible for adjusting dates on MieTrak Sales Order backlog / customer portal (can delegate tasks to front office). Expeditor will be tasked by Inside Sales to provide updated commits to Inside Sales on pull in/push out requests. Expeditor will update WO dates when necessary.
• Works with expeditor to ensure products can be shipped in customer portal when complete, or ensure clear instructions are communicated if completed product should be stored as FGI.
• Liaison for communicating customer needs on a daily basis.
• Escalate to customer buyers/engineering on sales orders on hold. This includes escalating for engineering holds, pricing adjustments, expedite fees, and any other issues preventing us from fully processing PO’s
• A/R Collections – understanding the root cause of the A/R issue and working with accounting / front office to ensure all A/R open issues are resolved and cleared in a timely manner. Escalate to Inside Sales Manager or Sales if after two attempts the customer has not helped to resolve the issue.
• Ensure Lead times are adjusted if necessary (internally or with the customer)
• Provide feedback to the Sales Strategy process including providing feedback to Sales on account status, customer perception, and involvement in process improvement.
