As a Millwright, you will be responsible for:

  • Consistently follows all safety guidelines.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and determine a solution in a timely manner. (Identify mech vs. elect)
  • Knowledge and confidence to make the critical decision whether equipment can stay running or shut down for repairs.
  • Ability to fabricate and modify equipment in a neat and workmanlike manner.
  • Ability to call equipment and parts by its proper name and clearly identify parts that need to be ordered.
  • Ability to identify hazards on upcoming projects, inspect equipment and tools. (Slings, harness, chain falls, etc.).
  • Is confident to STOP a job when a potential hazard has been identified.
  • Follows and understands lockout tag out procedures. Able to identify the hazards of multi energy.
  • Operate multiple pieces of equipment such as welders, cutting torches, hand tools, overhead cranes, forklifts, loaders and other miscellaneous equipment.
  • Consistently working to assist in meeting QA Standards.
  • Consistently be at work at scheduled start time and ready to work as a team player. 
  • Can consistently demonstrate commitment to learning and pro-active behavior. 
  • Have a work order created for any maintenance jobs that are performed.
  • Constant exposure to moving mechanical parts, machinery and vehicles.
