We are seeking a Production Plating Technician for a temp-to-hire position with our client, a Company specializing in Anodizing and Specialty Coatings, located in Wood Village , Oregon.

The Production Plating Technician is responsible for conducting select metal plating processes for parts and assists the racking department in stripping aluminum racks/accessories.

As a Production Plating Technician you will be responsible for:

  • Ensures that the quality and safety processes and methods for anodize/chromate and passivation are adhering to specifications.
  • Strips aluminum racks to prepare for the next order.
  • Recommends replacement of production equipment as result of ongoing maintenance initiatives.
  • Maintains safety and good housekeeping standards as required by law and company policy.
  • Communicates effectively with the Plater III about work progress, concerns, and challenges or issues that arise.
  • Alerts Plater III of any unusual or strong chemical smells immediately.
  • Provides assistance to other departments when requested by a supervisor.
  • Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
  • Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
  • Respectfully takes direction from supervisor.
  • Performs other duties and functions as necessary or as assigned.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
