    • Clamping, tack-welding, grinding, bolting, and welding parts in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
    • Monitoring welding processes to prevent warping, overheating, distortion, or material defects.
    • Inspecting completed weldments to ensure quality and specification compliance.
    • Acting as a crane operator and following all crane safety protocols.
    What You’ll Bring

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • 2–5+ years of experience in steel fabrication or welding (or demonstrated intermediate to advanced skill level).
    • Working knowledge of MIG welding.
    • Understanding of welding characteristics and physical properties of various metals.
    • Ability to read and interpret assembly blueprints.
    • Welding or fabrication certification/degree (preferred).
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for most of the shift.
    • Consistent attendance, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
    • Qualified welders out of welding school are encouraged to apply, but you will be weld-tested to judge skill.

    Location & Schedule

    This position is on-site in Eugene, Oregon, with a full-time schedule of Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
