  • Provide production support for BI systems in a complex application and data warehouse environment.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve critical ETL/workflow failures; determine failure points and drive root-cause resolution.
  • Utilize workflow monitoring tools to identify failures, then trace components and interpret workflow/session logs.
  • Perform in-depth data research to provide clarity, validate fixes, and support process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to resolve complex issues and recommend optimal solutions.
  • Support routine and ad-hoc changes/deployments for source teams, including proactive support activities.

  • Experience with Informatica (or equivalent ETL tool).

  • Hands-on experience supporting ETL data movement in a production operations role (troubleshooting and resolving failures).
  • Ability to interpret SQL syntax across multiple database platforms (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, Netezza, DB2, etc.).
  • Understanding of SDLC processes.
  • Linux/Unix skills, including navigating directories, understanding file permissions/environment variables, reading shell scripts, and using vi.

Nice to have:
