Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Senior Structured Cabling Project Manager:

  • Lead the design and implementation of structured cabling systems, including copper and fiber cabling, telecom room layouts, and testing requirements. Coordinate with mechanical and electrical teams to ensure compliance and constructability of cabling and RF solutions.
  • Oversee project deliverables such as submittals, RFIs, and closeout documentation, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to meet client requirements.
  • Provide oversight for RF system designs, including Cell DAS, WiFi, and Two-Way Radio systems.

Required Skills for Senior Structured Cabling Project Manager:

  • Over 10 years of experience in structured cabling engineering and design.
  • Strong knowledge of ANSI/TIA/EIA and BICSI standards, with a preference for BICSI RCDD certification.
  • Proficiency in coordinating with mechanical and electrical teams, understanding power requirements, HVAC impacts, and routing constraints.
  • Experience with CAD/BIM workflows, including AutoCAD and Revit, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
