Electronics Repair Engineer, you will be responsible for:
  • To fault find, test and repair all units returned by DDC Electronics Ltd customers.
  • Fault find and repair defence/aerospace power supply units down to component level
  • Investigate and identify faults using test equipment and processes
  • Document all fault-finding and repair procedures ensuring robust traceability

In particular, EPR-e is responsible for the design and support to construction for the Hinkley Point C project, but also for the Sizewell C project. EPR-e works closely with EDVANCE and CNEPE in France, where the design of the EPR for HPC was initially developed and where some activities for HPC project still remains (i.e. safety, I&C). On their side, EDVANCE and CNEPE are responsible of the design of the EPR2 and EPR1200, optimized EPR model incorporating the feedback from the ongoing EPR projects. As part of the Responsible Designer for the Hinkley Point C EPR project, EPR-e covers the whole scope of the plants the Balance of Nuclear Island (BNI) and the Conventional Island (CI) and Balance of Plant (BoP). Roles & Responsibilities

As the Associate Asset Manager, you will be responsible for:

To assist with the management of a number of wind assets / SPVs by ensuring best practice for safety, quality and environmental performance, whilst enhancing the overall returns and value of each project and complying with all of the applicable contractual agreements. You will be working alongside the wind asset manager and assist with the management of day to day activities on wind assets; this will involve working with contractors and subcontractors the financial management team and other internal personnel to provide a solid asset management function across all of their assets.

1. Assist with the management of SPV contracts.

2. Help ensure that all assets are in compliance with:

• Statutory requirements for Health, Safety and Environmental performance,

• Local planning authority requirements,

• Grid company connection conditions and power purchase agreements,

3. Ensuring that everyone accessing and working across the wind farms have adequate site inductions and the necessary competencies.

4. Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled activities on wind sites.

5. Log H&S occurrences, champion improvements and actively manage project compliance with Health, Safety and Environment requirements.

6. Perform site inspections to ensure that activities are being completed safely and to a high standard as required by internal requirements, as well as checking the condition of the sites.

7. Maintain management tools including: Operating Plans, Asset Registers and other management tools as necessary.

8. Optimise project performance:

• Monitor contractor performance during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance with a view to ensuring all contracted SLA’s are met or bettered,

• Follow maintenance strategies and activities with a view to reducing down time,

• Review regular and other reporting provided by the contractors and ensure any issues are being suitably addressed,

• Supervision of sub-contractors or overseeing the work of management contractors where required,

• Identify and establish the necessary KPIs to monitor the performance of each asset.

9. Identify equipment faults, carry out diagnoses and troubleshooting activities with support from the Monitoring Team. Escalate operations and performance issues to the wind asset manager as required.

10. Assist with the preparation of regular asset management reports on each asset.

Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

1. Engineering degree or equivalent.

2. Knowledge of wind farm asset management activities. Knowledge of solar will be considered a plus.

3. Experience with remote monitoring systems on plant and equipment.

As the Mill & Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for:

PURPOSE

To produce compound feeds and blended and rolled products, control the weighing in and intake of feed materials, packing operations, loading vehicles, quality control on site, warehouse operations and stock control.

NATURE & SCOPE

The job holder reports to the Operations Director (or Merchant Product Manager in the case of warehouse staff) and may be expected to cover a number of roles within the mill or warehouse including:

The job holder is responsible for cleaning according to a planned cleaning schedule maintaining adequate records for audit purposes.

The job holder may be required to assist the maintenance staff with maintenance & calibration jobs and the Quality Controller in taking samples for quality or salmonella testing – for which training will be given.

Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • The job holder requires an understanding of all aspects of compound feed, blended and rolled product production as well as intake and warehouse operation.
  • Full training is provided by the Company.

MEETING / REPORTING REQUIREMENTS

The job holder may be expected to attend HACCP and / or H&S meetings as required.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

Weighbridge, intake and vehicle loading
  • Compound feed production
  • Blending, rolling and packing operations
  • Warehouse control and grass seed operations
  • Hygiene and housekeeping
  • Record keeping and sampling.
