The Control & Instrument Technician position is a vital role within the Maintenance department responsible for the short & long term maintenance on all control system, measuring & instrumentation assets which are essentially the central nervous system of the plant. This includes pressure, temperature, flow and level transmitters as well as DCS and PLC control systems. Electrical maintenance work on motors, switchgear, HV plant, generators etc would also be required

  • Maintaining the continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS)

Fuel Supply Manager

Astute are working on behalf of a leading operator of Energy from Waste plants to find an experienced Fuel Supply Manager to join on of their newest power stations.

The Energy from Waste site in the West Midlands has a capacity to process 436,000 tonnes of waste per year, generating 49MW of power for the surrounding area.

As a Fuel Supply Manager, you will be part of the leadership team playing an integral part in managing waste contracts which supply the plant with fuel.

Reporting to the Fuel Supply Director, you will be responsible for:
