The Production Supervisor will manage day to day operations of the extrusion line. The Production Supervisor will ideally have some familiarity working in the extrusion industry. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Operate and understand extrusion equipment, including presses, tooling, saws, and stretchers.
• Read and execute press schedules to ensure production efficiency.
• Supervise manufacturing resources to meet production goals established by operations management in alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with other supervisors on daily schedules, workflows, personnel management, and addressing issues affecting department performance.
• Utilize measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, tape measures) effectively.
• Coach, train, and ensure compliance with established plant procedures while demonstrating respect for team members' capabilities.
• Maintain proficiency in computer systems, including ERP databases, timekeeping, and attendance systems.
• Compose clear and professional email communications within the company.

The Extrusion Operator job in Bedford, OH is responsible for understanding the process of setting up, tearing down and cleaning out the machines. You’ll have a solid understanding within the plastics field. This is a full-time position.  

Extrusion Operator Required Skills: 

• Start up, set up, operate, and tend a machine that extrudes thermoplastics to meet customer specifications and dimensions according to work orders
• Load materials into extruder and adjust feed mechanisms to set feed rates.
• Move controls to activate and adjust for extruding process.
• Observe machine operations, control boards, and gauges to detect any defective material or any machine malfunctions

Schedule:

• Monday Morning 6am - 10am
• Monday Night 10pm to 10am
• Tuesday Night 10pm to 10am
• Wednesday Night 10pm to 10am

Pay Rate: $19 - $22/Hr

Machine Operators

Pay: $19.35/hr

Shift: 7pm-7am 2-2-3

Position Summary: The Machine Operator is a position that assists the Overwrap dept in operating and monitoring Overwrap equipment during operation to ensure quality production Key Responsibilities:

• Adjust machines as needed for changeovers

• Conduct quality checks.

• Observe and monitor input/output accuracy and efficiency of machine.

• Check the expansion symbol to ensure the form is the correct project

• Keep daily activity log of production notes ( including totals and defects)

• Ensure counts are accurate

• Ensure clean, neat and orderly area

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Ability to read and follow written work instructions on job jackets, understand product labeling

• Carrying out repair, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting work. • Assist in troubleshooting equipment systems with mechanical, hydraulic, and  pneumatic components.

• Assembly of jigs and machines according to drawings, sketches, samples, or  instructions.

• Support the proper documentation activities. 

• Perform 5s activities. 

• Responsible for total quality of products and services and authorized to stop work  when a nonconformance is noted. 

• Perform assigned quality system functions as specified in QMS procedures. • Perform other responsibilities as determined by the supervisor. 

• Observe established EHS regulations, procedures, and practices. 

Education and Experience 

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 

• 2 years mechanical maintenance or similar skills base. 

Required Skills and Abilities

Physical Requirements 

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud; hearing protection is provided and required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, coolant, or airborne particles and will work near moving mechanical parts.

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for building and machine maintenance, continuous improvement initiatives.

 

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Regular building maintenance and repairs
• Supervise & develop building and grounds employees
• Identify & realize cost improvement opportunities
• Vendors relationships to maximize value & mitigate risk to the company

The Fulfillment Clerk is responsible for working with the Shipping & Receiving team, fulfilling orders for outbound shipment, and examining products to ensure conformance to quality standards. You will have a solid understanding of meeting or exceeding production goals consistently. 

The Inventory Associate is responsible for keeping accurate records of received and shipped items, as well as loading and unloading of shipments and documentation of inventory in order to provide excellent organization of product and customer satisfaction. Review and apply inventory activities, including movements and deletions. Maintain and update inventory records. Reconcile inventory discrepancies. Report any stock issues to management and place product orders as necessary.  Qualifications:

• 1 year of previous experience in a warehouse environment WITH Fulfillment or Inventory experience.
• Data entry experience
• Cycle counting and inventory management experience (Inventory position only)

• Effective communication skills, including the ability to create and maintain productive working relationships
