Responsible for the operation of manually operated hand painting equipment as well as automatic paint line for application of final finish to prescribed specifications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Prepare surfaces to be painted as required by work instructions, using spray guns, rollers, and brushes.
2. Ensures the use of appropriate technical references and tools in performing paint duties.3. Perform cleaning and maintenance of all used painting equipment. Keep work areas clean and organized daily.
4. Work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by wearing proper safety equipment (e.g. – Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR)) and following procedures. Proactively identify and take corrective action to eliminate unsafe behaviors and conditions.
5. Maintain established production rates at expected quality levels
