  • Technical proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and shipping software, with experience using BlueStreak a plus.
  • Valid forklift certification and experience operating a forklift.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move frequently between workstations and the shop floor.

Preferred qualifications include experience in Aerospace, Heat Treating, or Metal Processing, familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality standards, and CDL or large vehicle operation experience as a backup driver.

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Progressive Die Press Operator to join our manufacturing team in Solon, Ohio. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining progressive stamping presses to produce high-quality metal components while meeting production and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate progressive die stamping presses according to production requirements
  • Load raw materials and monitor machine operations throughout production runs
  • Inspect parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality standards are met
  • Perform routine adjustments and minor troubleshooting on presses and tooling
  • Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections
  • Maintain production records and documentation accurately
  • Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations
  • Work closely with quality, maintenance, and production teams to minimize downtime
  • Assist with die changes and preventive maintenance as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum [2+ years] experience operating progressive die stamping presses
  • Ability to read blueprints and work instructions
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to lift up to [50 lbs] and stand for extended periods
  • Forklift or crane experience is a plus
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with metal stamping in automotive, aerospace, or industrial manufacturing
  • Knowledge of die setup and press adjustments
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
