Job Title: Precision Alignment Technician

What You'll Do:

As a Precision Alignment Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Performing precision installation and alignment of sawmill equipment, including band mills, resaws, trimmers, edgers, headrigs, end doggers, V-rails, flat rails, couplers, and other mill equipment.

• Establishing machine centerlines using precision wire and other alignment methods. • Using laser alignment systems and precision measuring equipment to align machinery within 0.003–0.005 inches over distances up to 100 feet. • Verifying equipment is plumb, level, square, parallel, and centered according to manufacturer specifications. • Diagnosing alignment issues and making precise mechanical adjustments. • Reading and interpreting blueprints, layouts, and alignment specifications. • Leading a crew of 2–3 technicians while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity. • Traveling to customer jobsites throughout the region. • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

What You'll Bring:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience aligning industrial machinery.

• Experience working with laser alignment equipment. • Ability to work within extremely tight tolerances of 0.003–0.005 inches. • Experience using precision measuring tools such as dial indicators, machinist levels, precision wire, calipers, feeler gauges, precision squares, plumb bobs, transits, and theodolites. • Thorough understanding of machine centerlines, plumb, level, square, and parallel alignment. • Knowledge of the 3-4-5 squaring method. • Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Willingness to travel extensively. • Ability to lift heavy materials and work safely in industrial environments. • Previous sawmill, millwright, welding, or fabrication experience is preferred. • Required skills: Millwright (ID 1000404)

Location & Schedule:

What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Work Order Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance coordination, facilities management, or related role
  • Solid knowledge of building trades, safety regulations, and maintenance procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word, and Work Order management systems
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Leadership skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively
  • The capability to work independently and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
