Duties and Responsibilities for Sanitation Worker

  • Ensure all food production and packaging equipment and facilities are cleaned per a Master Schedule and company procedures
  • Clean all machines thoroughly as per the strict standard operating procedures. This requires the disassembly, reassembly, cleaning, and sanitizing of equipment.
  • HACCP – Environmental swabbing and testing (ATP, Salmonella, Listeria), Brittle Plastic/Broken glass inspections, eliminate organic and chemical residue form product contact surfaces, and monitor bullet magnets.
