Hi I am Meghan! I’ve grown up and lived in the Portland area for
over 25 years. I started with Selectemp at the beginning of January 2023 as the Staffing
Manager for our Portland branch. I have a strong background in retail and retail
management. Working retail has given me the skills to be adaptable, a strong
communicator and collaborator. I pay attention to detail and am a great problem solver!

Why I love to recruit
I love being a recruiter because I like relationship building and getting to know both candidates and clients. I like taking on new challenges and problem solving to figure out the best fit for our candidates and clients. I also love the competitive aspect of recruiting. I am always in competition with myself to be better.

When I'm not working I like to
Spend time with my family and friends. I enjoy being outside as much as possible, especially in the summertime. The Pacific North West is so beautiful! I enjoy paddle boarding, camping, hiking, attending concerts, going to the movies, and eating my way through Portland! If you have any food or restaurant recommendations let me know!

My cell reception in the call was breaking up initially and I couldn't hear what she said. She was very patient and repeated things multiple times and waited for me to walk elsewhere for the cell service to improve. Easy to understand spoke clearly, and explained the job options well.
