What You’ll Do

  • Partner with operators and maintenance teammates to identify equipment issues and improve reliability.
  • Investigate equipment failures and help determine root causes — not just temporary fixes.
  • Document maintenance and repair work using SAP.
  • Follow rigorous safety and lockout/tagout procedures while working around heavy industrial equipment.
What You’ll Have
  • Millwright Card OR 3+ years of verifiable industrial/commercial mechanic experience required.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pumps, bearings, and gearboxes.
  • Welding and metal fabrication experience.
  • Experience installing, aligning, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery.

As a Buyer 1, you'll support manufacturing and maintenance teams by managing procurement activities, maintaining inventory health, and building strong vendor relationships. Your work will directly contribute to delivering quality products and supporting a dynamic and growing organization.

What You’ll Do

As a Buyer 1, you will be responsible for: • Managing the lifecycle of purchase orders for raw materials and packaging using the M3 ERP system to ensure timely procurement. • Acting as the primary contact for the Vendor Managed Inventory program to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages. • Utilizing MRP planning tools to place intelligent, well-timed orders that keep production moving without interruption. • Monitoring product expiration reports and managing return workflows to maintain inventory freshness and quality. • Building and nurturing professional partnerships with suppliers to secure reliable delivery times and favorable lead times. • Collaborating with Production Scheduling, Quality Assurance, and the Distribution Center to prevent supply gaps and address issues swiftly. • Troubleshooting shipment discrepancies, damaged goods, or billing errors to maintain smooth operations.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have: • A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related fields is preferred, but significant hands-on buying experience is highly valued. • At least 1 year of procurement experience, preferably within a high-volume manufacturing or food processing environment. • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and familiarity with digital tools such as Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong organizational skills and excellent communication abilities. • Problem-solving skills with the capacity to identify supply risks early and work collaboratively to resolve issues.
