  • Operate spray guns and other painting equipment to apply coatings to heavy industrial metal parts and equipment.
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and grinding to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
  • Mix and match paints using proper ratios and automated mixing systems to achieve desired color and finish.
  • Apply primers and top coats with attention to detail, ensuring efficiency and quality.
  • Inspect finished products to verify compliance with specifications and safety standards.
  • Label materials accurately and maintain detailed production documentation.
  • Clean and maintain spray guns, booths, and other painting equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  • Follow production schedules to complete daily painting assignments efficiently.
  • Use appropriate protective gear when working with fumes and hazardous materials.
  • Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as necessary to move heavy equipment safely.
  • Attend safety meetings and adhere strictly to company safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

What You’ll Bring:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 0–1 year of industrial or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate spray equipment, mixing systems, and paint booths confidently.
  • Experience working at heights using ladders and lifts.
  • Forklift and overhead crane certification or experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret tape measures, technical drawings, and bills of material.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with fumes, noise, and temperature variations.
