What You’ll Do

As a Shop Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

  • Disassembling, inspecting, measuring, and rebuilding hydraulic cylinders (primary focus)

  • Rebuilding valves, pumps, motors, rotary manifolds, and hydraulic grapples

  • Measuring components accurately and converting measurements to decimals

  • Inspecting hydraulic lines and components for wear, leaks, and damage

  • Troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems and performing preventative maintenance

  • Removing and replacing seals, rods, barrels, and worn components

  • Assisting with pump and valve testing on test benches (training provided)

  • Following oil containment, cleanup, and shop safety procedures

  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional work environment
