As a PVC Grinding Technician, you'll be an essential part of the production process, helping to safely process and recycle plastic materials. You’ll work closely with the production team to ensure smooth workflow, maintain safety standards, and deliver quality results every day.

What You'll Do

As a PVC Grinding Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Lifting and maneuvering large plastic PVC pipes throughout the work area safely and efficiently.
  • Using an air hose to remove dust, debris, stickers, and gaskets from rejected products to prepare them for grinding.
  • Operating a forklift to transport and position bundled rejected materials onto grinding racks.
  • Stripping straps from material bundles before processing, ensuring secure handling.
  • Wearing and utilizing all required personal protective equipment, including helmet with face shield and ear protection, to stay safe on the job.
  • Feeding rejected products into the grinder while avoiding ejected materials, maintaining safety protocols.
  • Monitoring grinder operation closely and pausing when the hopper signals it needs a moment before resuming.
  • Closing dump valves and removing filled bags of pulverized material from the system.
  • Weighing and recording the finished bags accurately for tracking purposes.
  • Storing processed material in designated areas following proper safety and procedural guidelines.
