Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Applications & Help Desk Support Specialist:

 
  • Act as the primary point of contact for incoming IT requests and manage ticket triage

  • Design, develop, and implement end-user device solutions tailored to our client's needs

  • Gather and document user system and software requirements, research and evaluate technology options, and prepare business cases for proposed solutions

  • Provide both first- and second-level technical support, resolving incidents and processing changes in alignment with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

  • Collaborate with all IT teams and end users to support effective, reliable, and secure end user device solutions

     

Required Skills for the Applications & Help Desk Support Specialist:

 
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a help desk, support, legal assistant or similar role, or an associate degree with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role

  • Experience in desktop support roles in a Windows environment

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and Audio Visual systems

  • Experience working with document management systems such as Laserfiche

  • Hands-on experience working with ticketing systems

  • Strong analytical skills and process improvement abilities

This includes protecting the company against hackers and cyber-attacks, as well as monitoring network traffic and server logs for activity that seems unusual. Additionally, these analysts are responsible for finding vulnerabilities in the computer networks and creating recommendations for how to minimize these vulnerabilities. The network security analyst investigates security breaches, develops strategies for any security issues that arise, and utilizes the help of firewalls and antivirus software to maintain security. Required Skills for the Network Security Analyst:
  • 3+ years’ experience evaluating and reviewing existing Cybersecurity tools and controls to determine gaps, provide recommendations, and implement risk reduction plans for the organization
