IDR is seeking a Business Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Memphis, TN. This role supports a dynamic IT division focused on enhancing developer experiences and optimizing software delivery processes through data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software performance metrics and developer tooling ecosystems.

Position Overview for the Business Analyst:

  • Analyze and interpret software delivery performance metrics and developer experience tooling to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and leadership to communicate insights and recommend process enhancements.
  • Conduct analysis on applications such as Mulesoft, Amplify, and Backstage to inform application improvements.
  • Utilize telemetry and feedback to measure and improve developer productivity.
  • Develop dashboards and reports that communicate technical insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements for the Business Analyst:

  • Experience with Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) like Backstage.
  • Experience with engineering analytics platforms (LinearB, Jellyfish, Haystack).
  • Familiarity with developer tooling ecosystems (IDEs, Git workflows, CI/CD).
  • Strong product thinking and empathy for developer workflows.
  • Ability to measure and improve developer productivity using telemetry and feedback.
