Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Payroll Specialist:
Manage payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Collaborate with team members to address payroll discrepancies, including garnishments and overpayments across all 50 states.
Utilize Excel for data analysis and report generation to support payroll functions.
Engage with various payroll systems, including Oracle and ADP SmartCompliance, to streamline processes.
Contract position through the end of January, with potential for extension.
Required Skills for Payroll Specialist:
Associate Degree or a minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll, benefits, tax, or accounting.
Proficiency in Excel, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent customer service skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Familiarity with UKG, CPP or FPC certification, and previous report writing experience is preferred.
Experience with Oracle and ADP SmartCompliance is strongly preferred.
