Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of diagnostic imaging techniques and be committed to providing high-quality patient care. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a crucial role in performing imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnoses. Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and aseptic techniques during all imaging procedures.
  • Prepare patients for examinations by explaining the procedure and addressing any concerns.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures performed.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to discuss imaging results and assist in diagnosis.
  • Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively while maintaining quality control standards.
  • Stay updated on advancements in radiology technology and techniques to enhance patient care.
Skills
  • Proficient in medical terminology relevant to radiology and patient care.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology to understand the human body for accurate imaging.
  • Experience with various imaging modalities including but not limited to X-Ray, CT, PET scan, mammography, and diagnostic radiology.
  • Ability to apply aseptic techniques in clinical settings.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Strong attention to detail for maintaining high standards of patient safety and image quality.
