  • Collaborate with Operational ISSOs, system owners, and other functional areas to ensure the security of the fielded system

  • Work on creating/updating Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages for RMF Authority to Operate (ATOs)

  • Apply cybersecurity capabilities such as patch management, multi-factor authentication, host-based security, intrusion detection, and security event management

  • Participate in the Agile Development Lifecycle, including generating requirements, architecture design, configuring Cyber audit tools, conducting verification, and performing Cyber vulnerability and configuration activities

  • This is a full-time position requiring U.S. Citizenship due to security clearance and government/federal contracts held by our client

Required Skills for Cybersecurity Engineer - E5:

 
  • IAT Level 2 certification and Secret Clearance required at start

  • Strong working knowledge of Cyber capabilities and Information Assurance (IA) technology, NIST standards, DoDI 8500.2, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) Security Controls

  • Experience with creating/updating Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages for RMF Authority to Operate (ATOs)

  • Familiarity with hardening Windows and Linux servers and workstations in accordance with GPOs, IAVMs, and STIGs
