Position Overview for the Accounting Analyst

  • Lead general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements.
  • Prepare, record, analyze and report accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles.
  • Conduct recurring and month-end accounting functions directed toward processing of transactions.
  • Control/reconciliation of accounts and records (balance sheet, P&L, bank accounts, etc.).
  • Lead accounting reports/schedules for internal audiences (management reporting) and/or for external audiences (compliance reporting) including consolidation of financial statements.
  • Initiate and support continual process improvements and coordinate process improvement projects.

Required Experience for the Accounting Analyst

  • 3+ years direct related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Intermediate to excellent skill level in Microsoft Excel
