Job Title: Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant Pay Range: $28-40/hr based on experience Schedule: Monday – Friday (8x5 or 4x10’s available) No weekends or On-Call | Overtime optional on weekends or after hours Outpatient Setting Position Summary: The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) supports the delivery of medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role focuses on restoring function, preventing disability, and helping patients achieve optimal performance while adapting to physical limitations. The LPTA promotes a culture of safety and excellence by adhering to all regulatory and accreditation requirements, including those of the Joint Commission and national patient safety standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care consistent with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
• Respect patient rights and involve them in treatment planning and decision-making.
• Implement individualized therapy programs to achieve measurable goals, monitor patient responses, and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to communicate patient progress and any additional needs or treatment modifications.
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and clinical staff on therapy techniques and strategies to support rehabilitation.
• Contribute to departmental initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and enhance process efficiency.
• Support compliance with The Joint Commission standards across departmental and organizational levels.
• Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to ensure high-quality, timely patient care.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate of Science in Physical Therapist Assistant
• Licensure: Active licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Georgia
• Experience: New graduates welcome. Experience in acute care, outpatient rehab, or skilled nursing preferred.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Interface Engineer:

• Lead in authoring the development of ICDs and IDDs, establishing new interfaces between external elements, including sensors, and other Command and Control Systems.

• Ensure the ICDs and IDDs created adhere to the appropriate standards required of the program.

• Develop various behavioral diagrams to understand and document the requirements.

• Create detailed requirements, captured in DOORS, for clear understanding by the implementation teams.

• Attend interface working group meetings with customer and representatives of assigned external element engineering organization.

• Support program integration and test related efforts for the associated interface.

Required Skills for Interface Engineer:

• 9+ years of professional experience in Systems Engineering or related discipline.

• Proven track record of successfully applying system engineering principles to develop product solutions.

• Experience in requirements elicitation and use of behavior diagrams as an analysis tool to understand and decompose requirements.

• Demonstrated skills and experience with interface engineering including authoring of ICDs and IDDs.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Experience working with IBM Rational's Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS).

• Bachelor's Degree in Math, Science, Engineering, or Software Engineering. Master's Degree in an Engineering Discipline is a plus.
