• Demonstrates leadership and commitment to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ)
• Actively encourages and leads contractor teams to implement and comply with project HSEQ requirements.
• Intervenes in a strong and persuasive manner in HSE matters on site
• Can competently advise on HSE matters at all levels within the project organisation
• Provides technical support to the persons responsible for safety on the construction sites
• Administers the permit to work process when required
• Undertakes Level 1 accident investigations to a high standard and produce internal reports
• Undertakes internal inspections and audits of the standards of HSE on site and the work practices employed

• Undertake accurate setting out and the management of setting out in line with the project programme of works.
• Interpret drawings and specification to ensure the construction of works is in accordance with site requirements.
• Ensuring quality of the construction process
• Ensuring that all site works are conducted in a safe manner
• Experience with reinforced concrete structures and underground services will be required.

• Support management of BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method)
• Assisting the CDM Manager with Engineering and Construction Compliance

The Quantity Surveyor role comes of £500 per day. Outside IR35.                   Key skills: · Signing of subcontracts and collaborating in the offer phase.

• Co ordinate with Construction, Procurement and Finance Departments in closing of subcontracts.
• Co ordinate with Project Control regarding planning and cost controls on site.
• Manage PAC
• Manage back charges and Contradictory prices.
• Claims and Measure Management.
• Address any needs of reports or special analysis requested by Project Control or Project Director on site.

• Oversee final stages of the project reporting into Site Manager on site.
• Ensure all systems and components are installed and tested to correct standards.
• Site walks with client and subcontractors to create snagging lists.
• Oversee sub-contractors to ensure issues are resolved and working on time.
• Maintain records of all activities and identify and resolve issues during completion phase.
• Ensure all activities adhere to H&S regulations.
• Must ideally hold EfW experience, working with or hold an understanding of working for a Principal Contractor.

• Helping and support engineers on site with materials and general insulation works
• Adhere to all general H&S on site
• Must hold either CSCS / CCNSG
