Introduction
We are currently seeking a qualified Senior Site Chemist to work with one of the UK’s leading waste management service providers who focus on the disposal and collection of both hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Working as their Senior Site Chemist, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations across the waste facility ensuring efficient and effective sampling, testing and analysis of the waste on-site to ensure safe and compliance processing at all times.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have an appropriate chemistry qualification to degree level as well as experience handling a diverse range of chemical compounds including understanding of inter-reactions.
Candidates should have experience working in a Site-based Chemist role or working within an industrial lab with a good understanding of the Waste Management/ Hazardous Waste industry.
This role will require you to work in a hands-on operational capacity outdoors in all weather conditions.

The Electrical Commissioning Technician roles comes with a day rate from £450.00 to £475.00.

The Site Manager position comes with an hourly rate from £500.00 to £550.00. Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:Oversee daily site activities for each of their projects within the renewables sector.
Manage site personnel and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans, health & safety, and quality standards.
Liaise with project and construction managers to align site progress with programme milestones.
Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.
Lead toolbox talks and ensure RAMS are implemented effectively.
Interface with the client and attend progress meetings.
SMSTS qualification (essential).
ECS/CSCS card (essential).
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred).

Astute's Power team are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Supervisor to join the EPC Contractor through the mechanical construction phase on the new build Open Cycle Gas Turbine project in North Lincolnshire.
The Mechanical Supervisor comes with a day rate from £400.00. This role is outside of IR35. Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:Supervise and coordinate all mechanical construction activities on site, ensuring safe and efficient execution in line with project plans, specifications, and standards.
Oversee the stack erection process, including lifting operations, alignment, bolting, and welding, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and safety regulations.
Manage the installation of all mechanical systems, equipment, and piping associated with the OCGT plant, ensuring integration with other disciplines.
Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring work quality, productivity, and adherence to contractual requirements.
Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce site safety procedures in compliance with EPC contractor and client HSE policies.
Review and interpret mechanical drawings, method statements, and work packs to ensure accurate execution of the scope of works.
Coordinate with engineering, quality, and commissioning teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project progression.
Track progress against schedule, highlighting risks and proposing mitigation measures to meet project deadlines.
Inspect and approve completed mechanical works, ensuring compliance with QA/QC requirements before handover.
Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and as-built documentation for project closeout.
Ideally have experience within the Power Industry including OCGT or CCGT projects.

Working at their Plastic Recycling Facility in Avonmouth, the Site Operative will be responsible for supporting with the operating, inspecting and maintenance of static and mobile plant on-site. You will be carrying out duties related to the movement, loading and unloading of Plastic Reyclling Materials as well as supporting with site maintenance and general yard activities.
