Roles & Responsibilities

As the Graduate HSEQ Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Proactively support and embed a proactive safety culture through positive engagement on site and throughout operations.
  • Provide HSEQ support and advice to the business operations as specified by the Group Head of HSEQ to ensure compliance and standards are maintained; and promote procedural changes to align with good, safe working practices.
  • To assist operational teams, develop risk assessments and safe systems of work (RIPS scheme).
  • To undertake documented HSEQ inspections and audit against IMS procedures for the business.
  • Liaison with external auditors and helping the company to maintain required certification and accreditation.
  • Assist with close-out of HSEQ queries from both internal and external sources.
  • Use site visits to gather and promote best practice across the Group.
  • Provide support to development of risk assessment, method statements, procedures and permit application supporting documentation.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in a technical, engineering or science discipline (or equivalent)

  • Articulate and able to write clearly and concisely using factual based observation.
