Currently they have a requirement for a Lead Commissioning Engineers to lead a team of Engineers and Technicians throughout the commissioning of the project. We are looking for candidates with building services experience.As Lead Commissioning Engineer, you will bring demonstrable commissioning experience and practical skills to the commissioning team. Working closely with the Commissioning team, you will be responsible for planning, executing and documenting of commissioning and handover activities on the project and programme of works in a safe manner, fully in accordance with company processes, systems, procedures and specifications.

Since they were founded in 2001, they have installed over 480 PV systems with an output of 4 GW. The client has an exciting opportunity as an assistant project manager to support on the site management of both Solar PV and battery storage projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Project Management you will be responsible for:· Supporting the site manager on both Solar PV and Battery Storage projects.
· Ensuring quality standards and contractual requirements are met.
· Coordination of sub-contractors.
· To make sure all HSQE standards are met.
· Preparation of site documentation for project handovers
· To identity and mitigate any risk to the budget, quality or programme.
· Coordinate logistics and manage materials.
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
· Experience of working within the solar sector, or renewable sector
· Previous site management experience
· SMSTS or SSSTS training
· CSCS card
· Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will:· Carry out electrical systems design for the electrical installation of Solar and BESS projects.
· Read and review design specification and complete technical drawings to project timelines.
· Provide technical and engineering advice in elation to project challenges.
· Attend project meetings with key stakeholders.
· Support in the winning of projects including tendering, bids, and sales and purchasing.
· Prepare substation layouts, wiring schematics, cable containment solutions and more.
Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:
· Minimum HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering.
· Experience within the renewables industry especially within Solar or BESS.
· Knowledge of grid connections and applications.
Personal skills:

· Thorough and has great attention to detail.
· Good at problem solving especially to a time limit.
· Happy to travel as needed.
