Astute’s Power team is partnering with a timber manufacturer and energy provider to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to work at their CHP plant in Invergordon.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will:

• Diagnose and repair faults in key technical process equipment to ensure the reliability and consistency of plant operations.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Conduct inspections on plant equipment, including motors, pumps, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental compliance standards, promoting a culture of accountability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with motor controls, pressure and temperature sensors, and other control systems.
• Provide support for PLC fault-finding and control system maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, system changes, and equipment configurations.

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Time-served, dual-trained electrical/mechanical engineer with experience in an industrial setting.
• City & Guilds/NVQ qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Strong IT skills with the ability to maintain accurate maintenance records.

Introduction

We are currently recruiting for Service Engineers to join the UK No.1 specialist of Water Treatment and Water Hygiene. Working as a Specialist Engineer, this will see you travelling across London and the surrounding areas.

Roles & Responsibilities

As the Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Providing routine maintenance service to clients across London and the surrounding areas
• Attending to breakdowns, conducting fault-finding and fault rectification
• Installation and refurbishment work
• To undertake goods inwards inspections for arrival of equipment on site
• To establish, maintain and develop strong client relationships and assist with customer requirements.
• To complete service functions on all types of water treatment plant serviced and maintained by the company.

Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Previous water treatment experience is essential
• An excellent work ethic and desire to develop within an established business
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team flexibly
• Full UK Drivers License
