 Electronics Repair Technician Urgently Hiring! Pay: $16.50/hr Hours: Monday - Friday 6:30AM - 3:30PM (Must be available to work some Saturdays, IF/WHEN mandated by client) Start Date: ASAP We are seeking a Electronics Repair Technician for a Temp-Hire position with our client, a local manufacturing firm located in West Eugene makes scanning equipment for grocery stores on an international scale. The  Electronics Repair Technician will play an essential role in the hands on operations of inventory and product and shipping and receiving dutiesThe ideal candidate will maintain an organized and safe environment while actively contributing to the efficient processing of machinery parts. This is a great entry-level opportunity to acquire electronic assembly skills in a very clean working environment! located in Eugene, Oregon.

As a  Electronics Repair Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Diagnose, simple electronic/mechanical failures (most are predictable) using established procedures and techniques
  • Very basic repair of circuit boards at a component level (if/when required)
  • Complete documentation using a few screens on the company’s ERP System
  • In this role you will unbox/ receive freight/and process units into Return Material Authorization (RMA) – it’s the mechanism (in the system) that allows a customer to return items for service or for repair.
  • You will match paperwork with unit and place in bin. You will put items on product cart MW-Hand Held Scanners (HHS)-Fixed Retail scanners (FRS) in order of Require End date, which is the date Repair is to be completed and returned to our customer.
  • Send out e-mails to RMA group of any issues and complete various spreadsheets for Tech-Eval, Problem Shelf, RFB’S received etc.
  • Help out as needed with other tasks and Cross Train on other process areas: QRP fulfillment, Closing, Tech-Evals, Service repair Daily Audit, Problem Shelf and various other tasks.
  • Must maintain reliable attendance and be courteous in the treatment, communication, and interaction involving all working relationships, internal and external.
  • Should have good interpersonal abilities, ability to work in a team, focus on results, attention to details, flexibility and creativity, proactivity, willingness to learn, capability to work in a dynamic team and in a complex environment, problem solving attitude, open minded, accountable (“Say-Do” ethics).

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs repeatedly

We are seeking Shift Leads for  temp to hire positions  with  our client, a manufacturing facility  located in Brownsville, OR.  The Shift Lead is the coach, Leader and manager of the production crew.The ideal Shift Lead  candidate will have the ability to motivate a team and 3-5 years of leadership experience.  This is a temp to hire  position located in Brownsville, OR.

 

As a Shift Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Regular monitoring of the shift performance and the communication/coordination of improvement initiatives.
  • Administering the personal development program for the team.
  • The operations of the green in feed system, dryer system, dry hammer mill system, kiln dried system, pellet mills and all other associated equipment.
  • Keeping accurate production and down time records, including the operator logs.
  • Monitoring  the quality test results and corrects the root cause of any incident that is outside of their specified ranges.
  • Acting as relief in all positions and will cover for absences on the team such as vacation, sickness and other excused absences.
  • Other tasks as directed by the Production Manager

The ideal candidate for this role will have: 

  • Great communication skills, willingness to flex their leadership style as needed and comfortable holding the team to a standard.
  • Abllity to motivate a team.
  • Have continuous improvement mindset.
  • 3-5 years leadership experience, ideally in a fast-paced 24/7 environment. Direct wood pellet manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing process trouble shooting desired; demonstrated delegation and problem-solving abilities preferred.
  • Ability to coach, train and mentor. 
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
