  • Perform general and preventive maintenance on plant buildings including pipe fitting and plumbing tasks, general electrical and lighting tasks, and work to comply with regulatory codes.
  • Perform welding tasks as needed in proper maintenance of equipment and the facility; materials welded may include steel, stainless steel, and other alloys using different welding equipment and techniques; all-position welding may be required.
  • Assist in making electrical installation/repairs as required (i.e., wiring).

The ideal candidate for this role will have: 

  • A high school diploma or GED as a bare minimum; Prefer a trade school or apprenticeship graduate; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree is a plus.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of Industrial Manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and arc welding is a plus.

  • Position requires accurate completion of the Bagger production report, filling pellet sample cups every ton for quality control information, and tagging pallet with Quality Control tag with initials, date, ton number, and the shift the pallet was completed.

  • Prior forklift and production line experience preferred.
  • Will require good eye, hand, and foot coordination.
