Job Title:  Mill Worker Day Shift – Immediate Opening!  (Veneta, OR)

• Move lumber materials around the plant, pulling/stacking/positioning
• Mostly by hand, repetitive gripping involved
• Possibly use forklifts/other equipment
• Operate various wood product processing machines
• Machines include but not limited to:  cutting, gluing, shaping, or finishing wood/glulam.
• Assist across all departments
• A Rover position is meant to be flexible and work in departments as needed

• This is a cross-train-and-pitch-in kind of job
• Assisting in other areas of the lumber mill or facility as needed

• You must have a track record of excellent attendance, reliability, flexibility, and coach-ability
• This is a physical job, that involves bending, kneeling, stopping and twisting
• 2+ years of work experience in a production experience in a manufacturing facility preferred
• 1+ year of experience in wood manufacturing preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while paying attention to detail.
• Practice consistent and robust safety policies.
• Great aptitude for learning machinery that is used in wood processing and production.
• Previous experience using skill saws, hand, and power tools.
• Can stand, stoop, bend, push and pull for an 8-to-10-hour shift.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. to 75 lbs. on a semi-consistent basis.
• Have great work ethic, attendance, and punctuality.
