Standard hours M-F; EST, CST or MST time zones are okay (no pacific time zone) Position Overview for the IT Project Manager / Change Manager:The IT Project Manager / Change Manager will lead large-scale, cross-functional IT initiatives with a strong emphasis on change management, stakeholder communication, and Agile delivery. This role will collaborate closely with technical and business leaders to define scope, quantify value, and deliver project outcomes that support strategic goals across the organization.
You’ll be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, risk mitigation strategies, and end-to-end delivery within a highly empowered team structure. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with experience in healthcare IT, Agile transformation, and executive-level communication.
Responsibilities for the IT Project Manager / Change Manager:Lead 2–4 concurrent enterprise IT projects from initiation through delivery
Drive change management efforts across technical and business teams
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and value metrics
Facilitate Agile ceremonies and support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Own project financials including forecasting, tracking spend, and managing variance
Identify, escalate, and resolve risks, issues, and blockers impacting delivery
Represent projects in governance meetings and cross-functional forums
Guide geographically dispersed teams and foster a culture of ownership and collaboration
Publish project charters, communication plans, change requests, and status updates
Champion continuous improvement and help shape the future of the project portfolio
5+ years of IT Project Management experience in large-scale enterprise environments
Strong background in Agile/Iterative delivery and tools (Jira, Confluence, Trello)
Experience managing organizational change in complex, regulated environments
Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills
Strategic thinking with the ability to align project outcomes with business priorities
Proficient in project budgeting, resource planning, and performance reporting
Leadership experience with cross-functional and geographically diverse teams
Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field required
PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent Agile/Project Management certification preferred
Master’s degree is a plus
